Holmes Phi Theta Kappa Chapters bring home 21 awards from regionals

Phi Theta Kappa chapters at Holmes Community College brought home 21 awards (chapter and individual) from the Phi Theta Kappa Mississippi/Louisiana Regional Convention Friday and Saturday in Hattiesburg.
The Kappa Alpha Chapter (Goodman Campus), Alpha Mu Beta Chapter (Grenada Center) and the Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter (Ridgeland Campus) brought home 12 chapter awards including: Most Distinguished Chapter: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Most Distinguished Chapter Finalist: Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; Top Five for Honors in Action: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; and Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; Top Five for College Project: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Honors Study Topic, Issue 8: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Honors Study Topic, Issue 3: Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter, Ridgeland Campus; Most Distinguished Officer Team: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Five Star Chapter Development Award: Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; and Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter, Ridgeland Campus.
The chapters also brought home nine individual awards including: Golden Key Recipients: Josh Clark, Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Howard Savage, Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; and Rebecca McInnis, Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter, Ridgeland Campus; PTK Advisory Board: Jeff Edwards, Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; Paragon Award (four years of service): Ann Weaver, Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; Horizon Award (hard work and dedication): Ann Weaver, Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center; Benny Moore Outstanding Advisor Award: Steve Deaton, Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter; and Will Alexander, Kappa Alpha Chapter, Goodman Campus; and Most Distinguished Officer: John McClain, Jr., Alpha Mu Beta Chapter, Grenada Center.
